OAK RIDGE, Tenn., May 2011 – LED North America finalized the installation of 5 cobra-head style LED parking lot lights at the Heritage Center in the East Tennessee Technology Park in Oak Ridge, TN.
The installation was done for CROET (Community Reuse Organization of East Tennessee) on a newly constructed building. These new lights are 120 Watt luminaires that incorporate LED North America’s graphite foam thermal management technology. The graphite foam was developed by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and LED North America holds an exclusive license for using this technology in LED applications. Due to the foams’ superior thermal management, these luminaires carry a 10 year warranty.
